	Lakeview Photographic Services is located in Bardstown, Kentucky and is owned and operated by Patti Longmire. The scenic natural vistas at Lakeview offer opportunities for special outdoor photos in addition to traditional studio settings. Patti takes all the photographs and is a trained photojournalist. She has a photojournalism degree from Western Kentucky University and still does work for the Associated Press, The Louisville Courier-Journal and The Lexington Herald-Leader. She also has done work for The New York Times, The Miami Herald and USA Today along with other publications. She is a member of NPPA (National Press Photographers Association). The same technological training that enabled Patti to become an award-winning photojournalist has also given her an eye for finding and documenting the story behind a photo to expose the human emotions and personalities of her subjects. Whether you want to capture photographic memories in a casual setting of your children at play or document all the trappings of a formal wedding or anniversary gala, Patti can provide quality photographs that capture the essence of the event. Weddings and receptions offer unique opportunities to capture dynamic human emotions from many perspectives. My experiences in photojournalism have given me an eye trained to see the story behind a picture and to tell that story in photos. I like to capture the behind-the-scenes moments of a wedding or that certain smile only a parent knows of their child. The aim of my photographs is to capture unique moments that will remind you of your special day. Children are some of my favorite subjects. In many unguarded moments they portray an honesty that's fun to capture in photos. The key to selecting the right photographer is to find someone with a high level of technical expertise who is also someone you can communicate with easily.
